SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR

A successful candidate for our Service Administrator supports the Operations Manager by scheduling, tracking, and managing bench service/repair processes for the location.  This position is located in our San Antonio office with full-time hours of Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Processes and monitors bench repair jobs from inception to completion.
  • Responds to incoming service calls as well as customer inquiries with a high level of customer service.
  • Greets and assists customers both in person or via telephone.
  • Answers incoming calls for all departments, as needed; directing them appropriately or taking a detailed message.
  • Runs weekly reports to ensure service tickets are processed appropriately.
  • Responsible for maintaining customer inventory as necessary.
  • Daily review of service tickets verifying appropriate parts allocation and directs to accounting for invoicing.
  • Reviews and processes daily service emails ensuring customer’s questions are answered and/or forwarding to appropriate personnel.
  • Monitors production of bench technicians and placing work on scheduler.
  • Coordinates with other locations to ensure completion of service tickets in a timely manner.
  • Monitors, files and manages Customer Support Plans, as they exist, for major accounts.
  • Tracks and confirms all job paper work is completed and filed correctly.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Computer skills include Microsoft Office
  • Works well under pressure
  • Knowledge of service and installation processes
  • Organized, flexible, and punctual
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Communication skills
  • Must pass a thorough background check and drug screen

 

 

 

The following position is available in our A&B Communications' Corpus Christi location.

SALES REPRESENTATIVE

The successful candidate is responsible for developing business and generating sales throughout South Texas.  This position is located in our Corpus Christi location with full-time hours of Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

​Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prospect target accounts in vertical markets and territories as assigned by the Sales Manager.
  • Execute sales calls and strategies for company products and services as outlined.
  • Track prospects, quotes, and orders through an activity log. 
  • Provide account management.
  • Recommend products and services appropriate for the customer.
  • Prepare quotes and proposals consistent with company sales and service strategies.
  • Process order paperwork.
  • Execute targeted marketing campaigns as approved by Operations Manager.
  • Assist with development of marketing materials, marketing campaigns, printed sales brochures, website, and email communications.
  • Provide feedback and report to Operations Manager on weekly call activities, including upcoming sales opportunities or new prospects.
  • Attend scheduled sales meetings and training as required.
  • Keep up-to-date on manufacturer/vendor sales promotions and incentives, and rebate programs.
  • Coordinate order delivery and pickup with sales administrator and/or customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 3 years experience in prospecting, qualifying and selling
  • Technical experience preferred, but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Comfortable speaking to people on the phone and in person in a professional manner
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and problem solving skills
  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Office
  • Organized, flexible and punctual
  • Must pass a thorough background check and drug screen
